Brazil is the world’s leading producer of Arabica coffee, which is mainly grown in the highlands in the south-east of the country, where the alternating periods of drought and heavy rain create the climate. Minas Gerais is one of the Brazilian states.

The Arabica plantations grow at altitudes between 900 and 1200 m, and great attention is paid to environmental issues.
